The MTA will be presenting three “Member of the Year” awards this spring.  Awards will go to an SRP member, an elementary teacher and a secondary teacher.  The awards have been established to recognize the members’ service, commitment and loyalty to the association and will be presented to the winners at the end-of-year social.

All MTA members with the exception of members of the MTA Executive Board, officers of the MTAO and officers of the MSNA are eligible to be nominated for the award.  Nominees must have a minimum of 3 years of MTA membership and intend to return as an active member of the MTA for the upcoming school year.

The nomination process will start in late March and the closing date for nominations will be the last day of classes in April.
